ABOUT THE COMICS:

SOMMORE
Sommore reigns as the undisputed “Queen of Comedy." With a winning combo of class and sass, she offers audiences a hilarious, yet piercing look at today’s issues from a woman’s perspective. Frank and fearless, she tackles topics ranging from the mundane to the controversial with wit, intelligence and style. Sommore was the first woman to host BET’s ”Comic View” (1994-1995 season), and received the Richard Pryor Award for Comic of the Year in 1995. She has also hosted Russell Simmons’ “Def Comedy Jam,” and “Showtime at the Apollo.” She was part of 2000’s record-breaking “Queens of Comedy” tour which garnered her a wider fan base and placed her in Guinness’ Book of World Records when she performed to an audience of over 50,000 in Atlanta. Never one to rest on her laurels, Sommore was a featured comic in the “Latham Entertainment Presents” tour in 2002, where she was the only woman performer. In 2002, Sommore made her film debut in Friday After Next. She has also been featured in a number of other films including, Family Reunion (2002), Soul Plane (2004), Something New (2006), and Dirty Laundry (2007). Her TV credits include: “The Hughleys” and “The Parkers,” HBO’s “SNAPS” and MTV’s “Wild ‘N Out.”

LAVELL CRAWFORD
Perhaps best known for his role on BREAKING BAD (as Huell), Lavell Crawford next hits the big screen alongside Kristen Stewart, Jesse Eisenberg, and Uma Thurman in AMERICAN ULTRA. To those in the know, Lavell is one of the hottest artists breaking out of the urban scene in years. With his original voice and consistent wealth of new material, Lavell has started selling out big time at theaters, major arena tours as headliner and closer; colleges, casinos, and clubs across the world generating seven-figure income in that area. Recent projects include his on-going recurring roles on THE CRAZY ONES, SUPER FUN NIGHT, and ALWAYS SUNNY IN PHILADELPHIA, as well as his work for several weeks as Guest Host of the STEVE HARVEY RADIO SHOW, regular appearances on CHELSEA LATELY, recurring voice over roles on Adult Swim’s SQUIDBILLIES, ongoing series regular role on Swim’s series, SPERM WHALE. and roles on TOSH.0 and WORKAHOLICS.

RICKEY SMILEY
Comedian, TV host, actor and top-rated nationally syndicated radio personality Rickey Smiley has become one of the entertainment industry’s most celebrated performers as a compelling talent with the capacity to reach a multitude of audiences. One of the few “clean” comics amongst the top tier of today’s comedians, he’s amassed a loyal fan base for his quick-witted delivery and captivating energy. His rise began as the headlining host of BET’s “ComicView,” where he was distinguished as the only comedian with the honor of hosting 2 consecutive successful seasons, garnering the show’s highest ratings in history. BET then signed him to host “The Way We Do It” in the 2001-2002 season, which later became one of their top 5 shows. Memorable appearances on “Showtime At The Apollo,” “Uptown Comedy Club”, HBO’s "Def Comedy Jam” and “Snaps” followed. Ricky has also opened for comedy titans including Steve Harvey, George Wallace, and Carl Strong. In 2007, he began hosting the Rickey Smiley Morning Show, one of the country’s funniest and most compelling radio programs. Based in Atlanta, in over 61 markets, the show is a blend of laughter, social issues and celebrity news. Rickey continued to perform sold out shows pleasing audiences in with original characters such as "Bernice Jenkins,” “Lil’ Daryl,” “Joe Willie” and “Beauford.” After mastering his signature characters, Rickey headlined The Laugh and Shout Experience tour as “Minister Joe Willie." The popular comedian also joined forces with the TV One network as the star and executive producer of his own top rated sitcom, “The Rickey Smiley Show,” about a working comedian experiencing the joys and pains of being a single father of three; a character that parallels his own life. Smiley’s growing character base found its way to 8 best selling CDs including iTunes #1 Best Selling Comedy Album, “Rickey Smiley- Prank Calls Number 6.” He also hosted BET’s comedy concert DVD “Open Casket Sharp.” On the big screen, Rickey has had major roles in urban film classics including “All About The Benjamin’s” and “Friday After Next,” along with his most recent starring turn in the hit romantic comedy “Baggage Claim.” In recent years, he has hosted numerous prestigious award shows including Trumpet Awards, the Stellar Gospel Music Awards, and the NAACP Image Awards Dinner & Pre-Party.

DC YOUNG FLY
DC Young Fly’s expansive work in the comedy, acting, and digital spheres have made him a standout as an entertainment multi-hyphenate. A comedian, actor, social media influencer, musician and podcast host, DC has proven that innate comedic ability, abundant creativity, and a passion for generating laughter in others can be translated across multiple mediums.

Originally having picked up traction for his hilarious videos on Vine, DC is a hands down fan-favorite amongst today’s generation, currently holding an overall deal with MTV/VH1. He is a veteran cast member of Nick Cannon’s WILD ’N OUT, which is entering production for its 13th season, and has brought the humor to MTV’s TRL (Total Request Live reboot) as one of its main hosts.

On the acting front, his credits include BET’s THE NEW EDITION STORY and Will Packer’s ALMOST CHRISTMAS, in which he plays ‘Eric’ alongside Mo’Nique, J.B. Smoove, and Gabrielle Union. DC also recently played ‘Jaymo’ in Jerrod Carmichael’s new multicam comedy series for FOX, REL. He can next be seen in the Lionsgate Feature Film, TWO MINUTES OF FAME, Nick Cannon’s SHE BALL, and Master P’s upcoming Independent Feature, I GOT THE HOOK UP 2.

DC has also made several unscripted guest appearances on projects including BET’s gameshow, BLACK CARD REVOKED, and VH1’s HIP HOP SQUARES, where his natural comedic timing and energy played well with sold out live audiences.

KARLOUS MILLER
Karlous Miller is an American comedian and actor. He began his comedy career in Atlanta, Georgia and is widely known for being a cast member on MTV’s Nick Cannon Presents: Wild ‘n Out. He has since appeared in multiple televisions shows such as Hell Date ,Yo Momma, Bill Bellamy’s Who’s Got Jokes, The Mo’nique Show, Off the Chain, Comic View, Last Comic Standing and Wild ’N Out

Currently based out of Atlanta, Karlous has performed in London,Germany, St.Thomas,Virgin Islands, and Puerto Rico, and various colleges throughout the United States. Miller also states this his comedic influences consist of Redd Foxx, Bernie Mac, Mo’Nique, Richard Pryor, Eddie Murphy, Cedric the Entertainer and Steve Harvey.

Miller is also known for his notorious “wildstyle” battles with fellow headliner Chico Bean. Partaking in a series of improvisational musical and comedic games Miller is praised for his comedic genius and witty punchlines.

CHICO BEAN
Chico Bean is the stage name of American stand-up comedian, actor, writer, singer and producer Anthony Jamal Bean who is best known as a recurring cast member on MTV’s ‘Wild ’N Out’ since its fifth season in July 2013. He also starred on the TV movie ‘Wild ’n Out: Wildest Moments’ and the series ‘Guy Court’. He has made guest appearances on TV shows like ‘HuffPost Live Conversations’ and ‘Steve Harvey’; acted in the series ‘Uncommon Sense with Charlamagne’ and ‘Wild ’N on Tour’, and was a participant on two episodes of the game show, ‘Trivial Takedown’. Besides being an actor on the E! Network sketch comedy series ‘The James Davis Project’, he also contributed to it as a writer. During his early career, he served as an opener for comedian Chris Wiles. Along with B-Daht and Darren Brand, he is one of the founding members of ‘Freestyle Funny Comedy Show’. Teaming up with DC Youngfly and Karlous Miller, he also formed the comedy group ‘Dem Wild Boyz’, which became known for bringing raw southern comedy to the masses.
